About Donnalyn:

I was born in California and grew up in the Pacific Northwest. My mother (a Theosophist) introduced me to astrology when I was just 13.  While I did not immediately take up astrology, I have now studied it seriously for over 30 years. I am a graduate of Noel Tyl's Masters Degree Certificate Course in Astrology. Over the past 6 years I have worked with clients, taught astrology classes, and lectured on astrological topics.

Although you can't see the deer very well because they are back-lit, I love this picture.
I was trying to photograph these two deer, but they kept walking away into the foliage. Then, as soon as I gave up and started walking home, they came out onto the street and started following me!

In 2001, I founded the AstroLife discussion group at Yahoo! Groups, and I am currently a co-moderator of AstroLife. 

I was the President of the South Bay Astrological Society in San Jose, California From July 2003 through July 2005.

In 2008 I was elected to the Steering Committee for AFAN (the Association for Astrological Networking).

Since 1988 I have also been an attorney, currently working in the public sector.
